Tell us about your hardship and connect your mortgage details securely through our platform.

2. We Pay Your Mortgage

We make your monthly payments directly to your lender for a minimum of 6 months, up to 24 months.

3. Keep Your Home

You stay in your home without extra monthly payments. When you sell or refinance, we receive our small equity share.

Eligibility

  • Resident of Canada with a mortgage in good standing
  • Experienced or anticipating a temporary hardship such as job loss or medical issues
  • Have sufficient equity in your home (generally 20% or more)
  • Agree to a minimum of 6 months of relief coverage

For Homeowners

If you’re facing foreclosure or power of sale, our program can help you keep your home by paying your mortgage directly to your lender. We ask for a small equity share in your property, typically 2–5% plus a small service fee for legal and administrative costs.

FAQ

What happens if my home value doesn’t increase?

The equity share we agree upon remains a percentage of your home’s value at the time you sell or refinance. If the value hasn’t increased, you’ll only pay back the principal we covered plus the agreed-upon share of the current value.

Are there any monthly payments to Stay Home Capital?

No. Our support allows you to continue living in your home without additional monthly payments. We only collect our share when you sell or refinance the property.

What if I want to repay sooner?

You can buy back our equity share at any time after the minimum term. The amount owed is based on the most recent appraised value of your home.

Is my information secure?

We use bank-grade encryption and secure integrations to protect your personal data and financial information. Payments are sent directly to your mortgage lender.
